2004: Preliminary Study Funded

Congressmen Weller and LaHood fund a preliminary trail study.

Rail corridor ownership expresses willingness to negotiate for the trail.

2023: Feasibility and Support

Marquis Energy funds a feasibility study and a community trail ride is hosted.
